Deconstructing Complexity
Started my career as a high school math teacher in Los Angeles. My core mission was helping students make sense of abstract math, and making STEM fields accessible and engaging.

As technology grew, I saw it as an opportunity to enhance student learning. I earned my M.A. in Urban Education with a focus on Digital Learning, mastering how to leverage digital tools to scale student success.

My First "Users"
Began designing websites and resource hubs for my classes. I quickly realized that an intuitive, engaging layout directly impacted how independently and confidently my students could navigate their learning.

The Turning Point
Spent a summer teaching app development and coding basics. Immersing myself in this space opened my eyes to UX/UI. I found another passion and dedicated 1,000+ hours to rigorously studying product design.
